# Media library

> Everything you upload to Guin is kept in your Media library, ready to search and reuse in new clips and edits.

Every file you upload lands in your **Media library**. You upload once, and the footage is there for every clip and edit you make afterwards. Guin has already watched it, so new requests start straight away.

## Open the library

Click **Media library** in the sidebar. Use **Search your footage…** to find a file.

## Reuse footage

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select the footage">
    Pick one or more files in the library.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose where to take it">
    Start clips from it in Clip Studio, or choose **Open in editor** to work on it in the Smart Editor.
  </Step>
</Steps>

You can also reach the library from any prompt box. Click **Media library** next to **Upload** in Clip Studio, or **Library** in the Smart Editor's **Media** panel.

## Add footage

Footage is added from Home, Clip Studio, or a project. Uploading straight into the Media library page is not available yet. See [Upload footage](/guides/uploading-footage) for file types and limits.

## Storage

The Pro plan includes a 200 GB footage library. Team plans have storage sized to your volume.

## Removing footage

To have footage permanently deleted from your account, email [anish@guin.ai](mailto:anish@guin.ai).
