# Plans and pricing

> How Guin's plans work, what counts toward your minutes, how the trial works, and what happens when you reach your limit.

Guin has one self-serve paid plan, a free plan, and a Team option for more than one person or higher volume. Current prices and allowances are always on the [pricing page](https://www.guin.ai/pricing).

## Plans

| Plan     | Price                                                | What you get                                                                                                 |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

| **Pro** | \$99 a month, or \$990 a year (two months free) | A monthly allowance of exported video, no watermark, 4K export, and the option to top up with extra minutes. |
| **Team** | [Talk to us](https://calendly.com/anishd-guin/30min) | Team workspaces and limits sized to how you work. |

<Note>
  In the app, the Pro plan is shown as **Guin**.
</Note>

## Try it first

You can sign up, upload footage, and ask for clips before adding a card. While you are trying it out, the number of messages you can send is limited and exporting is locked.

When you are ready to export, start the **7-day trial**. It needs a card, unlocks everything, and gives you 20 minutes of finished video with no watermark. If you cancel during the trial, you move to the free plan.

## What counts toward your minutes

Your allowance is measured in **minutes of exported video**.

* Exporting a 2 minute video uses 2 minutes.
* Chatting, revisions, re-edits, and retries are not counted.
* Exporting an **Editor project** for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve uses no minutes.

The export dialog tells you before you commit, for example **Uses 30 min of your plan**. Allowances reset each month and unused minutes do not roll over.

## When you run out

Exports pause and you choose what to do. Nothing is charged unless you click it.

| Extra minutes | Price |
| ------------- | ----- |
| 30 minutes    | \$29  |
| 60 minutes    | \$49  |

Extra minutes are available on paid plans. They do not reset at the end of the month and stay valid for 12 months from purchase.
