Most tools work from the transcript. If nobody said the keyword, the moment does not exist for them. Guin watches what you send: who is in the frame, what is happening, and which moments matter. It needs no tags, labels, or setup from you.

What Guin knows about a file

After a file finishes processing, Guin has four ways into it. When you ask for something, Guin searches across all of these together. You will see it working in the chat: Reading the chapters…, Searching the transcript…, Scanning the video’s visuals…, Scanning for audio moments…, Inspecting that moment….

Ask by describing the moment

You do not need timestamps. Describe what you are after.
  • The best moments from the food tour
  • The part where she explains why they started the company
  • Any shots of the team laughing
  • Where does he first mention the launch date?
  • A strong opening line for a 30 second clip
In the Smart Editor, the Director answers with the moments it found. Each one has Jump to this moment and Play this moment, so you can check it before anything is cut.

Find footage in your library

The Media library has a Search your footage… box. Use it to find a file you uploaded earlier.

Get better results

  • Say what the video is for. “A recap for customers who missed the event” tells Guin more than “a recap”.
  • Name people and topics. If the footage mentions them, Guin can find them.
  • Attach a brief in Clip Studio. A short PDF or text file with key messages and names gives Guin the context it cannot get from the footage.
  • Ask it to look again. If a moment is missing, say so: You missed the bit where he hands over the keys.
