What you can upload
Phone footage, camera footage, drone footage, and screen captures all work as long as they are in one of these formats.
Photos and audio files, such as voice notes, are coming soon. For now, upload video.
Add footage
1
Start from Home, Clip Studio, or the Editor
Each of these has a prompt box with an Upload button. In the Smart Editor you can also drag files straight onto the page.
2
Pick your files
Choose one file or many. Uploads are resumable, so a dropped connection picks up where it left off. You can cancel or retry a file at any point.
3
Let Guin prepare them
Processing starts as each file finishes uploading. You can write your request while it runs.
Footage is added from Home, Clip Studio, or a project. Uploading straight into the Media library page is not available yet.
Processing states
Each file shows where it is up to.
Processing time grows with the length of the file. A short phone clip is ready quickly. An hour-long interview takes longer.
Tips
- Upload the originals. 4K exports are rendered from your original files, so better sources give you better exports.
- Send everything from the shoot. Guin skips the unusable takes, so you do not have to find them first.
- Keep audio on. Guin uses speech for captions and for finding moments. Silent footage still works, but there is less for it to go on.
